Mental health and wellness remain at the foundation of my work. Helping individuals strengthen regulation, clarity, and resilience remains my core purpose. My expertise, curiosity about people, systems, and the complex dynamics that shape behavior guide me in treating my clients in trauma and partner violence cases.

My structured, time-limited clinical intensives are designed for high-functioning adults seeking focused nervous system regulation and performance stabilization. My work integrates trauma-informed care, neurobiological science, and structured clinical reasoning to support meaningful, sustainable outcomes.

Besides domestic violence–specific treatment programming, I offer civil domestic violence evaluations, pre-plea evaluations, and consultation services. I collaborate with attorneys, Child and Family Investigators (CFIs), and Parental Responsibility Evaluators (PREs), navigating allegations of intimate partner violence and complex family dynamics. Consultation services are structured to support balanced, defensible recommendations in time-sensitive matters.

I’m here for you if you are seeking a second opinion on an evaluation, treatment recommendations, risk assessment, or predominant aggressor determination. I work hand-in-hand with attorneys (civil and criminal), court-involved professionals, therapists, treatment providers, and probation departments to review cases and consult as a seasoned expert.
Jeanette Barich, LCSW, LAC, DVCS, is the founder and Clinical Director of Vista Counseling Services. She values growth, curiosity, and doing work that matters. Her love of travel and learning about different cultures reflects a genuine curiosity about people; how they think, adapt, struggle, and evolve. That same curiosity guides her clinical work. She is continually learning, whether through formal training, consultation, lived experience, or the insights of those she serves.

Jeanette’s extensive work in the forensic realm now focuses on civil matters that can range from evaluations, consultation, or expert reviews of court cases. She’s grateful that her practice has allowed her to engage in diverse areas of work, each offering its own professional and personal rewards while keeping her work dynamic and meaningful. She’s drawn to capable, motivated individuals who want to better understand themselves and their circumstances to create meaningful change. She believes services should be both supportive and accountable, a space where you feel understood and respected, while also gently challenged toward lasting, responsible growth.
This practice continues to grow in alignment with clinical depth, ethical standards, and professional passion. If you are seeking structured clinical services or professional consultation, I welcome thoughtful inquiry.
